Who am I?

Greetings everyone, my name is Aspen and I'm an aspiring forensic psychologist currently in my freshman year of college. With this, though, I do have a long path ahead of me, as I am trying to achieve my doctorate & become clinically licensed. My primary interests include the Victorian era, gothic horror/fiction, cats, video games, and films.

I spent a majority of my life preparing to enter the video game industry as a programmer but quickly found in high school it was too monotonous, and decided to pursue my current career choice as it is the only other thing I've ever remained consistently interested in learning. However, I (occasionally) find history to be appealing as well.

I'm honestly not much for trying new things, but it is a long-time bucket list item to visit Washington. There is nothing I hate more than the sad, brown, desert. I am a big fan of the rain and would truly be at peace in a place where there is no sun.

School has always been difficult for me due to my lack of motivation, but in truth, I do love to learn. A driving force for me to pursue this career is due to my passion for socioeconomic issues, and study the human mind more in depth. Another important attribute of mine is my fervorous love for cats. I have been around them since I was in the womb, literally, and have 3 of my own. Their names are Jak, Daxter (whom are brothers and pictured on the left), and my oldest, Nero. Otherwise affectionately referred to as my sons. I have always said that if I were to win the lottery, I'd invest in abandoned buildings and flip them into sanctuaries for stray cats. And, before you ask, yes. I do have a strong... distaste for dogs.
